I'm trying to reduce my carbon footprint, so I am slowly transitioning to reusable everything.Bought this for all of my camping adventures and it's quite a game-changer. Instead of using bulky Tupperware containers, I'll have my handy dandy reusable bags. The zipper is sturdy and keep air in if you seal it completely! This will make was more space in my cooler and don't have to worry about my bags ripping or leaking.I brought some to work to try out and already got so many compliments. My boyfriend also loves them so much, he's going to buy his own set too! I have ran these through a dishwasher, a washing machine (not the dryer although probably wouldn't hurt them) and a hand wash cycle in the sink. Easy to clean, check. They are BPA free and non-toxic, so safety check. Finally they are simple to use and wash, convenience check.The only thing I have yet to try is to sous vide with mine, but more than likely they will be a touch too small for that. I got them because I was just so sick of wasting plastic, and they have definitely been used for what I had hoped to use them for (storing cut up fruit and vegetables and snacks) I love that you can use them over and over! And they fit better in the fridge. The seals can be difficult to close, you really have to make sure you are right on, but once you are, they will NOT leak, ever. I wish they had given more medium-large sizes, and less of the smallest sizes because you really can’t fit much in them. I looked at a bunch of this type of reusable bag before buying these, and I’m really glad I did.
