I tested it on a piece of #4, which is 1/2" thick and it worked really well. (see video and images). I used a heat gun and it shrinks up real nice, doesn't burn or curl up. This is 3/4" diameter shrink wrap and I was really surprised that it shrank all the way down to 1/4". Highly recommended. JohnnyF

**Q: Is this 2  4 foot pieces or   2  2foot pieces**
A: Two 4ft pieces

**Q: does this fit 0 gauge wire?**
A: Yes it should 3/4 shrinks to 3/8

**Q: can i use a lighter to shrink it?**
A: Yes but you will burn your fingers.... this is much more heavy duty than the little shrink wrap tubes most places carry.... it shrinks to about a half inch in diameter and probably close to 1/8 inch  wall thickness.... 
I used a heat gun to shrink it. I advise the same

**Q: can you use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun?**
A: Don't own a heat gun.  Hair dryer and soldering iron work great.  Later not as good for large tube though.
