Review: Great for a small office - Like many of us, ever since the pandemic the drive to home/hybrid working has meant that I spend a fair amount of time alone in the house working in my home office (aka smallest bedroom in the house). With fuel bills last winter spiralling, I am keen not to have another year where I have to turn the heating on in the whole house when I am predominantly working in one room. Hence this small heater... It is small (about the size of a shoe box I would say) and this is certainly not something for your living room, but if you want to warm up a small space to a comfortable temperature, then so far, this has been great. I keep it under my desk, and though it gets hot to the touch, there is no burn like you would get with a fan heater. Rather, it just slowly heats the air of the whole room up. Now I have only had it a while, and in September the weather outside is not particularly cold yet, but I am hoping that as winter approaches, this will continue to offer good value for money as opposed to heating the whole house. Finally, at a price of less than a take-out for two, what is not to like.
Review: I thought I had been ripped off, but I was WRONG. - I live in a house with no central heating and one open fire, as a consequence it is permanently freezing as soon as the weather changes. The Landlord installed Oil Filled Radiators which were expensive and not very efficient, and after being here nine years; they have all given up the ghost. As the change in weather this year caught me on the hop and broke, I needed a source of warmth for my son's bedroom URGENTLY. I chose this because although I knew it was unlikely to heat my son's 3.5 x 2.5m bedroom I hoped it would at least warm his bed area as a temporary measure, because it was well-reviewed, AND it was £25.00. Worth a punt, right? Well, I probably should have checked the listed measurements be because when a box the size of a Large DVD player arrived my heart fell and I figured I'd been ripped off. Still, I put it together, (2 steps, easy), read the manual, (standard controls, no timer switch) and carried it to my son's room. (Full disclosure: I have arthritis and a fractured spine, I cannot lift anything heavy....I carried it with one hand. That's impressive!) So, I let it settle for a few hours and switched it on at about 50% and left the room with the door shut. Two hours later, I walked into a greenhouse in comparison to the previous temperature! I left it on low all night near his bed, (the metal does get very very hot, as they all do but he is 10 and not likely to be bothered by it), and when I went to wake him for school he had had to switch it off as he was too hot! Judging by the warmth output so far and price, plus the guarantee I will be buying a few more of these to use in the other rooms. I am not sure what the cost to run is per se, but it's definitely cheaper than the previous outdated radiator so far. Look for twenty five quid, what have you got to lose?

## Questions & Answers

**Q: They heat an area better with a small fan on low behind them to move the heat, They stay on for longer too.... Little tip if anyone's interested?**
A: I haven’t tried it with a fan behind the radiator yet, as I found the heat was good enough, but I don’t think it would any harm to try it out there’s nothing to loose

**Q: Why am I being charged shipping**
A: If you have prime and are being charged shipping it is because it isn't dispatched from an amazon distribution centrr but is sent directly from the supplier. As a seller myself I always try and make sure that shipping is covered in the price of the item but not everyone does, it doesn't mean you are getting a bad deal, just sometimes sellers would be making a loss if they didn't charge shipping

**Q: What is the lowest temperature setting?**
A: There is no indication on the dial as to what the temperature is at any given position. Good heater though.

**Q: I need to heat a 4 x 3 metre studio. Would I need more than 1 of these heaters or would one do?**
A: Hi. I have one in an 8' x 6' insulated shed and it does pretty well. I would say for yours you would need 2 or one larger one.
In an outside office 11' x 8' I have an 30" x 30" oil filled radiator which does a great job. Sorry for the ft and inches...I'm rubbish with metric.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small! Don't buy expecting for a large room
*by A***N on 3 December 2023*

It's very small, weighs just under 3kg. I have it under my desk in my very cold living room and it's keeping my legs and feet nice and toasty. Don't buy this expecting to heat a small room. It's designed for very very small spaces or local heating. I just got this because it was a little extra bundled with the larger heater I ordered. Currently on my tariff as of Dec 2023, it's 36p/kwh in the day and 14p/kwh overnight. My storage heaters cost a fortune even on reduced tariff. This keeps me warm for 23p an hour in the day and if I'm doing an overnight, only 9p an hour. It's not gonna heat my living room but it's a nice toasty heat under my desk which slowly makes it's way upwards to my head.
