First of all, the topper is definitely a good quality, from the foam to the cover. It quickly decompressed and the cover was easy to zip and put on by myself. It did have an odor but just a faint new upholstery smell that quickly faded. It fit with my regular sheets and no big issues with it moving around, although once on it, it could stand to be a couple inches wider to meet the edge of the mattress. I don't believe it has any cooling properties but it's not overly hot like some toppers can be. It is very plush and cozy initially, but I really needed something firmer. I am a back and side sleeper and this is comfortable on my side but not at all on my back--it's like my butt sinks and I'm sleeping at an incline. Once you are settled in you sink in like a cocoon, so if that sounds good to you, you'll like this topper. It has helped with dispersing the movement from my husband, who thrashes around at night and bothers me, and seems to also be helping with his snoring. So those things alone are helping my sleep quality.
