The shoe is surprisingly very comfortable for a dress shoe. They look great as casual or formal.The shoes do run a little large and wide even though they dont look like it even in person. I am usually a size 9.5 and for this pair 9 fit better but still a little wide, I made the strap a little tighter and that seemed to help the fit.The down side is they are all man made meaning they are not made of leather material. I don't know how well is will last but so far its been holding up great. The top part does crease with your foot but with shoe trees they seem to be fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Quality and a Reasonable Price *by J***E on March 21, 2019*  The Faranzi Single Monk Strap shoe is $45.99 on Amazon (as of 3/21/19). I bought these (Size 11) for an upcoming wedding I must officiate.I was extremely pleased with these shoes. I really expected a very sloppy fit, but the Faranzi Monk Strap actually fits reasonably well. There is plenty of room in the toe box and the length and room for the toes (the shoe narrows quickly past the ball of the foot) is very good. The only “loose” part is the heel cup. I may eventually get some “tongue pads” which adhere via adhesive underneath the tongue of the shoe—these then push your foot back into the heel cup so the heel doesn’t feel as loose; sometimes is clears the problem up entirely.The material is a soft, man-made material (think vinyl) and the sole is man-made as well. The heel is described as being 14cm high (3/4” to 7/8” depending on where you’re used to measuring the heel). The sole is flexible and the grooving on the ball of the foot keeps the shoe from being slick on carpeting. Once the shoe is scuffed up on hard surfaces, this concern will go away.There are three adjustment holes in order to adjust the Monk strap. The buckle is attached to the shoe via elastic. There is plenty of “give” while walking and I noticed no “heel slap” or pinching across the foot.For the money, these are actually excellent shoes. The price makes them very affordable. My choice was to rent shoes for $30.00+ dollars (and who knows who’s been in them) or get my own for $45.99.I got my own.You should too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Light weight true to size shoe *by E***. on May 18, 2018* After my husband first tried on these shoes he noticed they made a squeaky sound that he thought would bother him all day; however, within the first couple hours the squeak went away and the only sound the shoes made was a slight jingle from the buckles. He says they are quite comfortable but—as with many new shoes that need to be broken in—after the second day I developed a blister on the back of one of my heels. He has received many compliments throughout the day how fashionable they were with multiple coworkers commenting, “What’s the occasion for the fancy shoes?” They were very easy to buckle (vs. tie) which he was concerned about because his fingers are so big; however, there is elastic as part of the strap which made it easy. The material felt of good quality and the shoe is very light.
