The first few days I didn't notice any improvements. However, by day 4 (maybe sooner as I forget exactly) I noticed that I was rarely having pain or cramping when eating. After a few weeks, I almost never suffer from any discomfort in my intestines. (Sadly, it doesn't stop, or ease, my lactose intolerance symptoms, as it's predecessor did.
