The kind of magazine that usually is reviewing the very high-priced makeup products. But this was reviewed as being EXCELLENT if you need a heavier concealer. The color is slightly too light for me -- but the next one is too dark. I have a large brown age spot on my check. I apply this concealer, using the wand that comes with it, to this age spot. The goal is go have a smooth coverage on that spot. I don't use this under my eyes. Once it has been applied -- DO SOMETHING ELSE. Let this dry for a minute or so. THEN apply another concealer for overall coverage. I use the L'Oreal Crayon concealers. I no longer use foundation. I have a number of very light sun spots (yes, I hate them & I wish I had NOT gotten tan when I was much younger) & the concealer does a much better job of handling those. You can read my in-depth review of the crayons here on Amazon. After that I use a light powder -- VERY light, almost white -- and lightly, very lightly set the makeup. I do not try to do this on my whole face. I use THIS product on the large brown spot only.
