    Lightweight comfortable bike.

I wanted a bike to go to town for shopping. I had a bike previously but it had big normal size wheels and was quite heavy to manoeuvre so I thought I would try this bike as I could also fold it up and put it in the boot of the car for holidays or days out.The Husband put it together in no time and we went off to town, it rides very smoothly and easily changes gear when going up and down hills.I found the seat a bit hard so bought a fat padded one and it makes a huge difference. I would think it you were used to riding a bike then the regular seat would be fine!I also bought a pannier to go on the back which makes shopping a lot easier. I can get loads in it.I was afraid the bike would be a bit small but putting it next to The Husbands' bike it is a good size and is a LOT easier to handle.I also chose this bike because of the position of the handlebars, they are slightly angled and I didn't want straight across ones. All in all, a great bike for the money and it has lived up to my expectations.

    Awful bike

Even bearing in mind that this is a very cheap folding bike it is terrible quality.I have had it for 4.5 months and used it to commute about 4-6 times a week for an half hour round trip on marked cycle paths.*It arrived scratched*I am 50kgs and 5'3 and could not get the seat to stay up at the required height no matter how tightly it was done up*the handle bars would twist around in the boot of my car so would need straightening up every time I came to use it*the gears changed when they felt like it, I was often left cycling around everywhere in fourth gear*the chain regularly came off*only the rear brakes where nearly tight enough and the cables where free*i believe the inner tube of the rear tyre has ruptured making the bike unusable and will be costly to fix*the rear reflector just fell off while cycling*the left pedal liked to fold in of it's own accord while cyclingI do not feel like this is expected wear and tear for the time I have had it or the use it has received.

Worst bike I've ever owned, let alone seen.

I bought this as I usually get lifts too and from work, but some days I only can one-way. Folding bike in the boot? Brilliant, I thought.Let's start with putting it together: the instructions are incredibly vague and the pictures look as if they've been compressed so they're all pixelated. It's lucky I live with an aerospace engineer otherwise I might have thrown it off of my balcony. Even he struggled making heads or tails of some of it.The biggest problem for me was the gear system. On the first time properly riding it, I changed to 6th gear as I was going up a VERY slight incline (this bike struggles on anything that isn't flat concrete) but then when I went to change back, the gears locked and would not move. I got off, I had a look at it - all seemed fine. But the bike just refused to change no matter how much I tried - I actually drew blood from my thumb from where it rubbed against my skin trying so hard. It meant peddling everywhere in 6th gear and getting nowhere. The bike feels cheap. The pedals feel like they're going to snap off if you pedal too hard and I can't even risk standing-peddling for that reason, along with feeling as if the whole thing will topple. The seat is absolutely tiny; I'm an average sized adult and it feels like it should be for a child. The frame also feels like it's going to just snap at any moment. The rubber on the handle is falling off already and frayed after literally two days of trying to use it.This bike has been an absolute disaster - I've been trying to return it with the seller and first of all they denied my request stating they wanted more information (despite providing a lot). Then after giving more, they tell ask me to sign a return note and they state to the effect of: 'if we don't feel the bike is faulty enough then we'll charge you £25 for collection'. So, what's stopping them from just saying it's not faulty and charging you anyway when it is?I've tried to give them my details for a return and then they didn't respond to me. I speak to Amazon to file an A-Z claim and THEN the dealer contacts me again days later asking for my details AGAIN.I'm going around in circles here, much unlike the wheels of my bike which is going in a skip as soon as I'm refunded.Just save yourself the hassle and don't bother.EDIT: I eventually had to call Amazon's customer service and insist on speaking to a manager (I hate being THAT person, but this was going on for well over a month). They had to be a go-between for me and the company and ensure they took their bike back. After another week of the company messing us around, they finally agreed to take it back. Despite telling them my address several times and getting them to confirm it, they sent the collection to my work address where I initially had it delivered. After not being able to contact them to change this, I ended up having to chat on the companies website and request a change. Upon requesting, one of their staff told me 'its not going to happen' and told me I'd need to contact the delivery company and then didn't contact further. So, having no reference number, staff name or will to live, I had to call the delivery company and after an hour on hold for through to someone that could help.Long story short: they've taken their terrible product back, a senior manager called me personally to apologise "honestly... I don't know what the hell happened here, I'm so sorry" and they gave me a full refund.I bought an office chair instead with the money. Don't waste your time.
