Any option and effects have this punching way above its weight class. I’ve been able to use this for main lighting, fill, background and dramatic effect. The diffuser works extremely well and the magnets allow for secure placement on any metal surface. Very easy to use and adjust quickly. Battery life is great and the compact size is super convenient. Review: Super Handy and Bright Magnetic Light for On-the-Go! - The Aputure Amaran MC RGBWW Mini Light has been my go-to for portable lighting, especially when I need quick, bright lighting in various settings. I first saw this in a linus tech tips video when he was building a pc and I knew I needed it. The magnetic back makes it easy to stick onto metal surfaces, perfect for when I’m on the move and need hands-free lighting. The adjustable color temperature (3200K-6500K) and RGB modes give me great flexibility for different lighting effects. Plus, it’s compact and super bright for its size. Whether I’m shooting videos or just need extra lighting, this mini light is a game changer! ## Features - The Aputure MC is Aputure's first RGBWW film light.HSI color control and a CCT range of 3200K-6500K,CRI and TLCI scores of 96+, and SSI scores of 84 in tungsten and 74 in daylight. With 360 of hue and 100 levels of saturation adjustment. - Unlike traditional RGB, the Aputure MC isn't just a light that relies on Red, Green, and Blue LEDs. By adding two additional white LEDs one balanced at tungsten and a second at daylight the Aputure MC is an impossibly small light that competes with industry giants. - As the first RGBWW light to be compatible with the Sidus Link mobile app, the true abilities of both the light and the app are finally unlocked. - In the MC's FX mode, toggle between any of the MC's nine built-in lighting effects presets to help you out in a pinch. If you need more control over your lighting effects, the Sidus Link app will allow you to adjust all of the effects parameters. Lighting effects include: Paparazzi, Fireworks, Faulty bulb, Lightning, TV, Pulsing, Fire, Party, Cop Car. - On top of that, the built-in magnets and footprint roughly the size of a credit card allow this mini RGB light to fit anywhere you could ever need. “No standalone lithium batteries are sold or supplied with this product.” ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07ZFPD1P3 | | Battery Average Life | 15 hours | | Battery Life | 15 hours | | Best Sellers Rank | #111 in Continuous Output Lighting | | Brand | Aputure | | Built-In Media | Light body *1 | | Color | BLACK | | Compatible Devices | iOS and Android devices | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,267 Reviews | | Flash Modes Description | Constant illumination with adjustable brightness and color temperature | | Hardware Interface | Bluetooth | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 3.66"L x 0.67"W x 2.4"H | | Light Sensitivity | 0-100% brightness control, 3200K-6500K CCT range | | Manufacturer | Aputure | | Manufacturer Part Number | Aputure | | Media Type | ProductImage | | Model Name | Aputure Amaran MC | | Model Number | Aputure | | Model Series | Amaran MC | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 3.66"L x 0.67"W x 2.4"H | | Screen Size | 3.66 inches | | Shooting Modes | [HSI Color Mode, CCT Mode, FX Mode] | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 YEARS | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Battery Life:** 15 hours - **Brand:** Aputure - **Connectivity Technology:** USB - **Hardware Interface:** USB, USB Type C - **Product Dimensions:** 3.66"L x 0.67"W x 2.4"H ## Images ![Aputure Amaran MC RGBWW Mini On Camera Video Light,CRI/TLCI 96+ - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61e6YXL4L7S.jpg) ![Aputure Amaran MC RGBWW Mini On Camera Video Light,CRI/TLCI 96+ - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51XooWtRLmL.jpg) ![Aputure Amaran MC RGBWW Mini On Camera Video Light,CRI/TLCI 96+ - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61nzze5pLrS.jpg) ![Aputure Amaran MC RGBWW Mini On Camera Video Light,CRI/TLCI 96+ - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71asGrqGCsS.jpg) ![Aputure Amaran MC RGBWW Mini On Camera Video Light,CRI/TLCI 96+ - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41owK1a9STL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why the heck are you charging $159 for a product that only costs $90 everywhere else?** A: This is called being greedy **Q: is this light safe to store near my dslr camera?** A: It has a REALLY strong magnet; however I have stored it near my camera dslr camera when it's in its case with no issues. **Q: Is there a Sidus Link android app or do these lights only work with apple phones?** A: Iphone, huawei,Xiaomi, google play are working **Q: Can this attach to the flash hotshoe?** A: Yes, it comes with a cold shoe adapter that screws into the bottom ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Full functionality in the palm of your hand. *by J***H on March 26, 2026* Great little light for vlogging.
