They have a very simple European look. It's so restful. However I worried that the tea cups were too small, and I would have to return them. They look big enough only for a few sips of tea. However when I poured my tea into them I discovered they actually hold a lot more tea than they look like they do because of the amazing design. They are wider than they look so they hold the tea horizontally rather than vertically like most American coffee cups. So don't dismiss them without trying them first.
