After a quick read of the instructions I plugged it in to charge using the lead (no plug adaptor provided). I left it for a couple of hours whilst I popped out and it was ready to use upon my return.After holding the on button for a few seconds it came to life and you receive audible directions to which setting you are on. I placed over my eyes and settled on the Automatic setting. What can I say is, it is different to any other heated eye mask I have tried in the past, tranquil music starts playing and then the eye mask inflates, heats, massages and vibrates all of which I can say were very comfortable and a nice experience. After 15 mins the program comes to an end (you are also advised by the audible voice) and it switches off.I felt relaxed and my eyes did feel refreshed and I was ready for sleep.The downsides - it is a little noisy as it inflates/deflates and massages however, after a few minutes I stopped noticing this, so I didn’t particularly find it irritating.I have given the eye massager 5* as overall I really like it and as I have said previously I found it relaxing once I got used to the sounds and sensations, however, I appreciate this may not be for everyone. With no domestic advertising or brand recognition with a lot of these types of products it often seem a bit of a stab in the dark. However all we can do is go by other people's reviews and trust that there genuine. I recieved this yesterday and have used it five times already and my wife has used it twice and we can both say that this is a brilliant piece of kit! I suffer with M.E with brings with it constant fatigue around the eyes along with headaches and migrains and this product helped last night with a bad headach far more than I had even hoped it would. It leaves your eyes feeling refreshed like you've just had an amazingly restful nights sleep after just ten minutes! I thought the music was a bit of a gimic to start with but it does actually help you relax and the while experience is very isolating from the outside world a and the stresses it brings. It really does relax your eyes and it helps in reducing dark circle and puffy eye bags. I use it every day since I received the device and I can see the result after a few days (P.s I put on my eye cream which is also a leave on mask.....and the heat and massage generally help the skin to absorb the cream better). Though, the downsides are that it can be a little noisy when the massage mode is on. Also, it would be better to have a remote control because it is rather challenging to regulate the device when you are wearing it since you cannot see the buttons on the side of device (However, I notice the Seller has another listing of the same device with a remote control after I purchased this one.
