So one regular reading w/ the phone app can take about a minute.- if the device needs to also perform self-calibration, which is about once every day, the measurement will take you from 3 to 5 minutes.- you are limited by what you drink and what you eat - you need to wait 30 minutes after any of: brushing teeth/mouthwash, consuming candy or gum, smoking, eating food, drinking coffee or tea or anything else than water. You also can't use the device 24 hours after consuming alcohol. This seems limiting at first but you will get into it, and especially easy if you do IF (intermittent fasting) with your keto.- make sure you have the app open and ready at the time when you are turning the device on, otherwise it will be performing a separate boot just for the Bluetooth connection/app, which takes extra time.- readings performed without the Bluetooth connection will NOT be recorded into the app later - this should definitely be fixed in subsequent versions of the device firmware and the app.Some UX (user experience) tips for improvement to the manufacturer:- When blowing air, don't sound the beeper the whole time. We know we are blowing air. Or make it possible to turn off/on.- When air should be stop to be blown, just sound a single beep on the device. No need to vibrate the phone and display a (somewhat berating) dialog box with a big Confirm button which disappears by itself before you can even press it.- Does the device really need to be rebooted after the Calibration? Can you make this faster?- Do there really need to be two waiting periods - one at the Turn-on of the device, and one upon the Bluetooth/App-connect event? Can this be a single waiting period? [note: I've discovered that I have to have the smartphone app open and waiting BEFORE I turn on the device, in which case this isn't a problem, but new users will not know this.]- Check for the typos (a missing space) in the Android app text.- Don't ask if I want to Close the app if the device has been disconnected. This is unnecessary user interaction/bother - phone apps are closed by simply exiting them to other apps etc.- In the future versions of the device, make the ON/OFF function based on the magnetic cover being taken on and off the device.All that said, the product warrants 5 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 March 2023* This was easy to use with the App and was accurate for measuring ketone levels because I checked it against a blood ketone monitor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small, stylish easy to use once synched with app *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 August 2021* I got this yesterday, it took a few attempts to syncing with the App but once synched it's very easy to follow the instructions via the app. Key thing to note is that this device will do 300 TESTS BEFORE IT NEEDS CALIBRATION VIA THE COMPANY. IT'S NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN DO YOURSELF. I've been told it's free postage to send off for calibration and costs £24. Something to bear in mind.
