A: Yes, it looks like it will fit it quite nicely. I have a similar camera and there's still room for my zoom lens, extra batteries and cables.

A: I purchased this as it just fits the Sony FDR-AX53 with the standard battery. It does not include a wrist / holding strap but there is a loop for one to be attached which I now need to source separately.
