I LOVE my plates in red! A true red too! I also have the multi colored cereal bowls. At first I thought they would be to heavy for my grandkids but they are just fine. The youngest is 3 and she hasn't dropped any. They like to pick which color bowl they use for cereal or ice cream. They all do great in the dishwasher and do well with heat in the microwave. But the dish will be Hot so just give it a couple of minutes and it's fine.
