Review: Great Little Earbuds! - I am really hard on headphones. I mow wearing them, I do all sorts of work with them on, and I carry a set with me just about everywhere I go My pet peeve about many popular brands of in-ear type headphones, is how wimpy they are made. "Skull candy" and many other popular in-ear phones, have such thin wires, they usually break or give out on me within only a month or two. So then I am left with just one element working. This even happened to me twice even with "Rhino" brand, which have the heavier ribbon type cords. They are better about not tangling, but in my experience, any slight pulling on the ribbon cords can easily separate the apparently tiny wires inside the ribbons. So to me those were not at all worth the 20 or so bucks they cost me. I miss laid the last more rugged pair of headphones that I bought here on desertcart over a year ago. They were awesome, and I missed them greatly! In the Meantime however, I had bought another set of the "ribbon" type earbuds hoping to find the desertcart pair in the meantime. But I never found my best ones, and soon the ribbon pair broke, as had the ones I had bought a couple of years before this latest pair had. The second pair also did the "famous" one element thing on me as the first set had done. So I began a new desertcart search, in a quest to find another heavier duty braided cable type pair of earbuds to replace my original lost set. After an extensive desertcart search, these are what I found. They looked the best ones to me for the money. And after years of owning no telling how many in ear headphones, and having the vast majority of them fail or malfunction due to hidden or various wire breaks, here is my "test list" as to whether or not a set of headphones are actually worth investing in. First comes durability. After all, what good is a 100 dollar set of headphones, if they don't hold up for but just a few months? Listening in just one ear is a real bummer! So even a marginal set of cheap headphones that actually work on both channels, beats a high dollar pear to pieces that only has one element working . And while I have no definitive way of actually knowing whether or not this new set is indeed rugged enough for my lifestyle, yet they do seem even more ruggedly constructed than my last similar lost set I bought here on desertcart, And that pair lasted well over a year, before I lost them. So "by faith" and by the feel of these, I will give them a 5 on their "rugged" aspect. Secondly to me, is sound quality. And I do believe these are some of the best you will find in audio quality for under 50 dollars I believe anyone who wants better sound than these produce, will have to spend at least 50 dollars, or perhaps even more. They are very easy on the ears, and they have a very nice crisp, balanced, and wide dynamic range. They also respond very well to my equalizer and my sound enhancement apps on my android. So these earphones easily pass the sound test. Next though is usability. Is the cord long enough? Yes! Do the headphones have the annoying straight type headphone jack connector, or they have the much superior 90 degree connecting jack? Yes they do have the L shaped one, which to me is much more durable and much easier to manipulate. Do the earbuds stay in your ears? Yes! It is so annoying to me to have to continuously stop what you are doing and to be always poking your earbuds back into your ears because they keep creeping back out! But these stay put very nicely! Next, can you lay on your side while wearing them, without them uncomfortably digging into your ears? Yes. While they aren't perfectly made for laying on your side with, you can manage it fairly easily without too much fuss, and maybe with just a little "pillow work". And last but not least, how snug do those rubber ear thingies fit on the earbuds? Nothing, (Other than one element suddenly going out) is more irritating than pulling your headphones out for a nice listen, only to find that one of the silicone ear pieces is missing and it has fallen off, and no telling where! That has happened to me many times in the past! But while replacing the larger ones that came on this set, with another smaller set that was provided, I noticed that these silicon ear pieces fit very snugly on the earbuds. So it seems very unlikely to me that they would ever just fall off somewhere without warning. My only complaint about this set of earbuds is that the forward and reverse remote buttons do not work, Pause and play works fine, but the other two buttons do not seem to do anything. To me that is just a minor annoyance, because if I didn't have the remote feature at all, I would never miss it. So to me it isn't a deal breaker, or it isn't even worth subtracting a star over it. It is probably just a glitch in this particular set. But I felt in order to be totally fair, I must at least mention it. So these seem to be a great little set of earbuds, and I already love them!
Review: Impressive sound, stylish, and good build quality. - Bought these to replace my Radius Atomic Bass 2 earbuds. They use the same comply foam tips that I currently use so I thought Id give them a try. With the OEM eartips the sound was ok. With the comply foam tips the sound was better than my Atomic Bass earphones. There was plenty bass and more importantly nice clarity in the mids and highs. I tested some Bose earbuds the other day and my Marley/Compy foam tips sounded much better. They are also very stylish and even have a nice grey carrying case. The build quality is great. The cord and connectors seem sturdy and the wood and iphone buttons (pause plus volume up and down) were solid. I was also told the microphone sounded way better than my old earphones. Update: I've been using these earphones every day to commute for almost a year. They have not broken or had any problems. If you carefully roll up the cable they won't tangle and you can then fit them in the great carrying case. Definitely a good buy for the price.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great, sounds d quality was so so
*by A***S on April 1, 2017*

Great headphones. Bought these and they still work. Came with three sets of ear tips and fit perfectly. My favorite thing about them is their design the aluminum and wood looks great and the cables, even though beaded, are suprisingly thin and tangle free. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of the sound quality. There wasn't a lot of low end but you get what you pay for and $20 for a stylish sleek design and decent headphones is a great deal to me.
