Unlike the others I have owned, you can tell the manufacturer really took the time to ensure this case met the user's need. From the use of real leather, functional pockets, detachable phone case, and bomber stitching I have absolutely no complaints about this product. One of the key features that topped it all off was the ACTUAL wireless charging ability, in the past competitors cases have advertised this feature, but it never actually worked compatibly with the charging platform. With the Wilken case I have had no problems utilizing this feature both at home and in my car.I can't recommend this product enough. This will be the last wallet case you will ever need and anything else on the market is sub-par. ### ⭐ Inner case too shallow to protect the phone if it drops *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2020* I never leave product reviews but I am so disappointed in this case that I am compelled to. I will admit that when I received this case, I might have been as excited about it as I was about the phone itself. It is a beauty: real leather, strong magnetic closure, solid feel in hand, the inner case detaches from the folio when you don’t need credit cards etc. I even recommended the case to 6 friends.I did have a sneaky suspicious when I first received it and slipped the phone in it that there may be a design flaw. The rim of the case sits below the screen curvature of the phone, leaving the very edge of the screen exposed. I compared it to my plain plastic case on the work iPhone, and sure enough that case envelops the phone so that the case frame wraps the screen around the edges (and two years later, I don’t have a single crack on the work phone). But then I thought this company makes phone cases for a living, they surely would know if there is a design flaw. The beauty and the utility of the case prevailed over my design concerns and I kept it.Fast forward a couple of months: the phone was in the inner case without the detachable folio in my fleece’s pocket when it slipped and fell out. The first drop confirmed my initial suspicion: the screen cracked on the very edge that was exposed, then the crack spread all over the screen and now the screen is not functioning. I have to wait 5 days and spend $200 for Apple to replace the screen. I can assure you that when I do, the repaired phone will be housed in a different case that may not be as beautiful as this one but will certainly protect the phone much better. Overall, if you plan never to use the detachable inner case on its own and only carry the phone in the folio, I feel that the phone will be sufficiently protected. If you plan to use the slim, detachable case on its own, you are taking a risk that your phone is not going to survive a drop intact. It is a simple fix - make the inner case deeper - that I am surprised the company has not already implemented.
