I was expecting it to be harder to read based on my experiences with other verniers and was very surprised how easy this one was to read in comparison. This is a terrific set of calipers and I keep finding myself reaching for them when I need to quickly check something. They're very smooth, ergonomic and may either keep me from buying a digital set or will force me to buy a Mitutoyu when I do.
