The game is time bound as you do not take turns but try to form words that use all your tiles faster than the other players. You also have opportunities with the right tile to put an opponent in time out, make an opponent start over or search the pile for a specific letter. It is little chaotic but also a lot of fun. Kids need to have a decent vocabulary, read well and know how to spell to play.
