The material does not have stretch, but is quite sturdy and reasonably thick for upholstery. It’s also slightly stiff and a little rough to touch, so keep that in mind if you’re using for upholstery where you might have bare legs touching it. I used it for an old piano bench for my entranceway and it came out gorgeous.
