The connector is dual-rated for use with cooper and/or aluminum Class B or C wires of 250 MCM-6 American Wire Gauge (AWG) and is rated for 600 volts. Traditional split bolts and other splice and tap connectors can be difficult and time-consuming to install and service. Polaris pre-insulated electrical connectors eliminate the need for extra tools and insulating tape, with only a hex key (5/16-inch) and torque wrench needed for installation. The Polaris smooth exterior finish and ergonomic design provide a secure, comfortable grip while applying maximum torque. The ISR-250 connector feature high quality aluminum alloy construction for premium performance and is abrasion and chemical resistant.
