In bad weather and rain I found they got worse. I'm still looking for the perfect night driving glasses. While the darker Category 3 lenses are more suitable for brighter sunlight, these lighter Category 1 lenses are especially helpful for enhancing clarity and definition on overcast days. These industry standard Category 1 lenses do not darken as much as Category 2-4 lenses so that they reduce glare without compromising on visibility in order to be safe for night driving. Hold the glasses in front of a computer screen (while it is on). Now rotate them 60 degrees. The lenses will darken. This verifies polarisation because light travels in one plane through polarised lenses. Non-polarised lenses would not darken when rotated. Overall reasonable value for money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These make driving at night comfortable again *by P***M on 22 January 2025* Like many people, headlight glare from LED lights has become an increasing problem for me. As a sufferer of visual migraines, very bright white lights are not only dazzling, but can also cause me headaches and blurred vision. I decided it was worth trying some night glasses, but was dubious as to how effective they would really be. Short answer: THESE REALLY DO HELP! It's a bit like being able to put the screen shader or blue light filter from your phone on to your windscreen. Of course they don't completely eliminate all dazzle, but they do make a big difference. Much less overall glare and the horribly bright white lights become a more pleasant yellow. The same goes for street lights too (the yellow glow is like going back in time to the 1980s!) Crucially, since using them I've not had any visual auras or migraine symptoms from super bright headlights! They're lightweight, but well made and very comfortable to wear. They also come in a really nice hard case. Much better than most cheap cloth ones.
