**Q: Is the tang self or welded. How long is actual tang, full**
A: It's not full tang, it's partial. the blade is 4.8 inches long and it is not welded.

**Q: Can this be carried horizontaly on a belt?**
A: It can be carried on your belt with no problems.  I do it all the time.  I wear it off my right hand side and can get it out of the scabbard easily and it's ready to use.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: Far as I know, some good ole boys just east of the river. USA

**Q: Is this real damascus or did a computer put that pattern on it? seems silly but so many on amazon advertise fake damascus**
A: It is made of actual Damascus steel and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It's handmade by folding multiple iron billets into a blade that's extremely hard and flexible while maintaining a sharp edge.

These knives are absolutely Beautiful! They make a wonderful gift and are a prize to hold. The handles are very comfortable to hold and use. I use my Bobcat Roar for processing wild game and have yet to have any issue. For the price these are a great value and with the certificate of hand made quality from Bobcat knives is really awesome. I loved this knife so much I purchased a Desert Fox and a second roar for my wife.

This knife is nicely made. Got it as a gift for my husband. He took it deer hunting and he said it worked perfect. He did get some rust on it. Its real metal so remember to oil the blade! Lol. Was an easy enough fix but reminded me of a cast iron skillet. Less work than that but something to mention, dont leave it wet.
