It seems like maybe after 30 minutes I could began to see some of the items in the aquarium. Around 10:45 I turned the aquarium light out and went to bed. When I got up the next morning (Friday), around 7:00 am, I turned the aquarium light on and to my amazement, the water was crystal clear, I was excited, happy, and very impressed with how this product cleaned all that ugly green algae out. Make sure you do not overdose, use as directed first sure. I have not lost a single fish since using this product; and I have not seen any detrimental impact on my plants. I use a mattenfilter, and the hair algae due to my overfeeding my fish was getting out of control. This product fixed it, and also encouraged me to moderate the amount of food I give my fish. Using a toothbrush as well using the "spaghetti method" to manually remove excess hair algae helps significantly as well. This product was 16 ounces I believe, and will last me a very, very long time.
