Designed for single ropes with a diameter of between 8 and 13 mm, the Duck is the first blocker in the world capable of working even on flat and tubular webbings from 10 to 15 mm wide, although these - is well known - are not approved for progression. Very small in size, it is easy to insert even with one hand. Furthermore, the wide attachment hole allows the rotation of the ring carabiners. Duck was born as an emergency blocker useful in maneuvers of recovery, self-rescue, progression in preservation and as a regulator for caliper or daisy in webbing.

**Q: Does the cam have teeth or grooves? Is it rough on the rope?**
A: The cam doesn't have sharp teeth like most, but does have rounded ridges to grab the rope. I wouldn't be concerned about it damaging a rope sheath if you're using it as intended (not as a fall assessor).

**Q: Would this work on a lineman’s rope for like say putting up tree stands?**
A: Absolutely.  That is what I use it for. Works perfectly.

**Q: Is this black even though pic shows yellow?**
A: The one I got was black
