There is no indication of strength or concentration but because it is gelatanised (cooked) this removes the starch and therefore achieves some concentration. If you add to porridge you will need an additional 50ml of water and an additional spoonful of honey or sugar. It's a root vegetable so the poor taste is to be expected. The dose is supposed to be 1 spoonful a day (I take two) and that weighs 4 grams thus 4000mg. Many capsules on the market do not work these days - this works.
