**Q: for the smaller pencils, how do you insert the lead? I have put it through the bottom as described above but it slides out.**
A: I read all the answers pertaining to putting more lead in the 5 pencil and I cant get the lead to come out as it should

A: @earthangelhalo -- No, that's the 0.5 & 0.9 pencils with the erasers under the cap. The 2.0's do not have one. That's the question-- where are they/did everyone else not get one?

**Q: How many inches long are the 2mm leads?**
A: 3.5 inches. Comes with 6 pods of 2mm with 6 sticks per pod.

The mechanical pencils work great for sketching. There's a lot of lead provided too so you can use it for a long time. Erasers on the mechanical pencils are a little flimsy but once you get used to them they're great for erasing small details of a drawing. The large erasers work really well too. Overall the set provides really good quality stuff to draw and for a good price.

I am getting back into drawing and painting after a long hiatus. I wanted a complete set of pencils and this set did not disappoint. Extra leads and erasers were a strong bonus for the purchase of this set. Sets of more well known brands would have cost hundreds of dollars. It was a great purchase and I would recommend this set to art or engineering students needing to save money.
