Nor have I ever touched up my roots with any permanent product. I have to get my gray roots touched up every 5 weeks. I use root-touch up powder the week-and-a-half prior to my 5 week appointment so I don’t have to go every 4 weeks. With all the salons being closed due to the pandemic, I was in a quandary where to turn. By this time, my roots were almost 2 inches of gray! UGH!! I read a lot of reviews for many different hair products but decided on this one....OH MY GOSH!!! It turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!! I’ve heard horror stories from my (high-end) salon about how you should NEVER mention the words “box color” in their presence (lol!) But I’m so glad not only that I took a chance, but that I chose this product to make the leap. I would genuinely use this every 4-5 weeks instead of going to the salon (it’s THAT good) but I couldn’t effectively do the root touch-up in the back of my head. The color actually matched better IMO than what I get at the salon (I chose dark blond). Also included with the kit was 2 pair of salon-quality black gloves, 2 head-covers, 2 bowls and one packet each of shampoo and conditioner (wasn’t expecting that). The kit supplies 2 root-touch kits.
