It would be perfect for those with petite hands or for children. The keyboard itself is compressed by about a half inch (1.5 cm or so) lengthwise, and a bit compressed in height, as well. I have fairly large hands (size 9 ring) and as such, it was uncomfortable doing a large amount of typing on this keyboard. I am keeping it for two reasons: 1) it works really well, and works with my MacBook Pro and my husbands pc. 2) my son (2.5) fell in love with it and likes to β€œwork” beside Mommy.
