The removal process is a pain... Especially if you use their needle you will hurt your palm and still fails to pop it out. You need to press down into the "trigger in side the hole". I suggest using flat head screw driver so the end toward your palm doesn't hurt you, if not you can use the included pin (that suppose to snap onto the yellow part instead of the needle they suggested) to do the job.There are 2 pin length for different thickness. I don't really like the pin desgin because I prefer plastic ones without making hole on the fabric but ... my quilt is too thick so the plastic ones wont work. This works perfect for thick blanket (with the long pin).
