The style and fit and elegance of the gloves themselves are all lovely; BUT the odor is incredibly horrible. I have tried everything I know to do: Put them outdoors in the sun; then closed them up in a zip bag with baking soda for several days. Right now they are in a clean zip bag with a bar of strong-smelling (pleasant smelling) soap. I am at my wits end; if this doesn't work, I will probably return them, and I really don't want to do that, because the leather is soft, and the gloves are beautiful. I am guessing the leather-tanning process that was used on them is the culprit. In some foreign countries that process involves using a disgusting substance that I won't mention here, but these gloves - when not sealed in a plastic bag - can smell up an entire room. Maybe it would wear off after several wearings, but I would wonder how many folks would be put off by the way my gloves smell. I wear a size 20 and found that I couldn't zip them up all the way - was expecting that when I bought the biggest size. The palm and fingers fit me perfectly. I took them to a place that does dress alterations and for $50 they sewed in a spandex gusset from wrist to gauntlet along the thumb-side seam with an elegant finish and now they are a custom pair of soft, sexy leather gloves. I tease my boyfriend by using my teeth to zip them up.They work perfectly on my iPhone which is great because it is a bit of a production to put them on and take them off! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous gloves at a great price *by P***M on November 8, 2018* I just received my gloves and I love them. They are so soft and lovely. The leather is butter-soft and the lining is silky smooth. I really like the zip-up feature as well. I'm a plus-size woman so the zipper doesn't make it all the way to the top but it closes far enough for me to wear with my 3/4 sleeve coat that I bought the gloves to wear with. I'll get a lot of other use from these gloves as well. The fit is perfect.
