Physical Therapy taped my knee to see if it helped give me some support , I was having tendon, nerve and muscle discomfort months after surgery . It did help and when PT ended , I ordered the tape to continue using for knee support . Stays on for days , even aftershowering . During my knee recovery , I found it gives me the added support better than the stretch pull on knee brace , and the tape is not noticeable under clothes. Love this tape ! Cut a piece of tape down the middle - but stop to leave about 3 inches uncut, place the uncut end of tape under knee cap and wrap the cut pieces around the knee. See picture . I also used a piece of tape on my shoulder to help with occasional muscle pain. After 36 hours, it starts to pull up and peel back all around the edges. Unfortunately, as this happens the “anchor” part of the tape peels back and then the tape is only adhered where it’s stretched at 50%. This was too much for my skin and ripped my skin apart at the top. Naturally, I went to pull the rest off to stop the tearing, and the tape literally flayed my skin. It was excruciating. Two months later, I still have big purple scars on my thighs and calves from this tape.I’m giving it two stars, because maybe it’s just my skin? Who knows.
