I just received this item today... Really impressed when I opened the package to see an awesome piece.... I just couldn't wait to try it out on our Tennessee Walker, Gretchen ....  Very comfortable, sturdy and well made, I can't wait to get another to my partner.  However, will wait til the same red/black colors to become available.... Love It.... Love it....

I specifically asked if this was English or Western. They said "Western". It is English, which I already have one of-just another brand. The 32 inch English Girth does not fit my quarter horse at all. Which means either I Pay to ship it back or try and find a bigger girth. Geez, this is so frustrating :( :(

It DOES have a English style girth/setup. But that’s not an issue. Bought this so I can cross the river without ruining a leather saddle and trail ride. Able to mount from the ground if you use your upper body to help get on or it will slip. If the horse is sweaty it WILL so use a log or step to get on.Also used it on an 8 mile trail ride up and down steep hills. In a normal saddle I would have been sore after that ride, this was like riding on a cloud, wasn’t sore one bit.Not sure how long the nylon girth straps will hold up but I’ll use it til it’s unusable and would order again!
