It was worn by the pilots of the RAF during the Battle of Britain. RAF Sheepskin Bomber Jacket provided the warmth and freedom of movement needed during combat. What a great jacket! It fits a little small, probably due to the sheep skin. I get many compliments on this jacket and find it very warm, maybe too warm for non-wintry days.

No labels; nothing states what is the jacket made of or where was it made. Strongly smells of Naphthalene, no scent of natural leather. On the inner side of one of the pockets - markings from an ink pen. Fur rather stiff. Probably, will return.
