No signs of rust or fading from being outside all the time. The rubber cap can go missing fairly easy if you're not careful. These types of locks aren't unbreakable, but it does help deter theft, because rather than removing a pin without any tools and taking your hitch, a thief would at least have to commit to breaking the pin. A step many wouldn't bother doing especially in a public space.
