First time application only needs two applications. I found it very easy to brush on to my new shed (pre -assembly). The second coat went on a lot easier than the first, I suspect that spraying might be easier as well than brushing. The container was easily sufficient to provide the recommended 2 coats. Hopefully it will provide the extra waterproofing to keep my new shed looking good for sometime.
