Review: BUY IT, DONT COMPROMISE QUALITY OVER PRICE. - Wow what a difference. I was sent home with a binder for hips and flanks after fat grafting surgery. It was horrible. I have heard that marena is an awesome product from my Dr and nurses . It took a little work to get this stage 1 on. But we'll worth it. It has taken away allot of the pain. It is made of soft material. Has eye hook inner closure with zipper over top. Open crotch to the bum for toileting. Its very comfortable and breathable. The size chart is spot on. The waist band does not roll. The only issue i have, as with anything that sits on thigh, is the thigh rolls up a bit. Im willing to live with that due to the comfort this garment provides. Buy it dont compromise on cheaper quality. When im ready for stage 2 I guarantee I will be buying from Marena.

Doesn’t reduce blood flow to my lower extremities. Washes well, I hang dry. It’s been 3 months of every day use switching between 2 pairs and both are in great shape, no loss of compression or seam issues. It’s worth every penny and more. About to buy a different color for spring colors. No one can tell I’m wearing anything or had surgery. It’s that sleek. Yes I tried others that were cheaper and it hurt pulling them up or the rubberized stays cut into me. Basically wasted money when I already had my first one from my surgeon. Get more than one. Be consistent.

Before update: 5’7” waist currently 40” hips 46” size xxl (perfect fit, use the size chart!) Very well made, lots of compression so I know my surgeon will approve, easy to put on. Can’t say enough good things. For context, I had an extended abdominoplasty. This is a HUGE relief compared to the wrap aka “torture device” that was given to me by my surgeon post op that had to be constantly re-adjusted with seams that dug into me, messed with my drain sites, and pulled on my suture line. This garment is a godsend in comparison and provides the same way better more full coverage compression much more evenly and ALL OVER instead of the wrap given by the doctor. Love it and grateful for its affordable price for how well-made of a product this is! UPDATE: after weeks of wearing it daily while healing, a really noticeable difference in even healing and swelling receding. I wash it every two days, goes right in the dryer fine, and so far no signs of wear and tear. So well made, super durable. In fact I’m going to order the next size down since I’ve gotten a bit smaller. Update at 8 weeks since surgery: still using the same garment, washing every other day. it’s still strong, and no one can see it under my clothes/tight pants (I can wear real clothes now!). I’m extremely happy with the results of how well I’m healing evenly and my entire midsection is compressing down as it heals. My measurements have gone down enough so that I may buy the next size down to see if that will fit since I’ll be wearing it at least another 8 weeks. UPDATE!!! I have ordered the regular XL now (next size down from what I began with) after 9 weeks of healing, my measurements were a bit smaller and I felt I needed more compression to keep the progress going. Fits perfectly, just as sturdy and again SO WORTH IT! If you have had abdominoplasty it’s my opinion that nothing else could work better than this garment, and it has been essential to maximizing the results of my surgeon’s good work. I will continue wearinf this for at least a cpl more months, until I feel 100% healed. I’m now using silicone strips on my scars we well. I don’t think I’ve ever done updates on my reviews but I’m so impressed with this garment and I think it will help people to know this.
