Butt 😅, you really only have to do that to turn it off. The lamp is very bright and fits as well as any single strap light. The strap seems heavy duty.You should never store these lights by hanging by the strap. I think they will all eventually stretch out. Still I think this one would take a long time to stretch, so hanging now and then is ok. For the money , they are very good . And having burned through so many batteries in the past, I'm getting used to everything being rechargable.
