Too hot for the first ten minutes. The lid is not totally sealed, so not really ideal for travelling in a car. The mouthpiece is always open. Very easy to clean, although I have not tried in the dishwasher. The 12oz mug just fits in the De'longhi Dolce Gusto Genio S machine which is a bonus. Bottom and walls of the cup stay cool when filled with hot coffee, so no worries about marking the furniture. Overall I'm delighted. Just bought another. Not completely leak proof as it has a hole in the lid that cannot be closed. Probably not good for car travel as it has wide bottom and might not fit in a standard cup holder. But I bought mine for when I'm gardening and it's perfect for that. I leave it on a bench outside and it keeps hot for a long time. I normally hate drinking through the opening in the lid and with all other cups I always took the lid off, but this one is very comfortable and I can drink safely without scolding my lips.
