Ring portion was too small to use on Free Key system without removing it every time you need to take a key off. I clip this to the opening and hang the keys inside the pocket. It works well for me most of the time, but not always, so I'd rate it as just "okay".The clip is small and light, so I barely notice it when not in use. It's about 1 5/8" long, not including the ring, which is tiny and meant to be connected to a larger ring. The clip clamps to the material of my pockets pretty tightly. In the 2+ months that I've been using it, I don't think I've ever had it unclip itself. It's too tight to clip to a belt.I have some jeans that are pretty thick, and the clip is a little hard to get on and off of them. I haven't tried bending it to loosen the clip, but I might when the weather gets colder and I wear heavy clothes more often. Also, I have some Dickies that are a little bit of an issue. They have vertical front pocket openings, and the clip wants to hang vertically. This combo is a little awkward, but not a big deal.
