They seemed a bit snug when I first put them on, but the elastic provides enough "give" to allow me to walk (which I do a lot of) very comfortably. After working a week-long event outdoors, I noticed that the elastic between the tongue and sides of the shoes was wearing out as well as some of the rubber on the toe starting to come apart at the seams.I got a replacement pair and sent the faulty pair back.
