The pocket is plenty big. I took a photo of it holding a Galaxy S8 phone, 2 passports, long wallet and camera and there was still room. The folds hide it well even when full per the picture. My only minor complaint is that the zipper is really hard to find even when pocket is full. This is awesome as camouflage for would be thieves but is a bit annoying if you need to get something in a hurry. The color is beautiful and the material is very soft. I used it on a very long flight from Florida to Alaska. I was able to drape it over my shoulders and over my arms when I got chilly. The pocket was spacious and the zipper was the same color as the material so it was not obvious. It is very well made. I would recommend it for anyone who travels, but also for every day use. Pros: soft, wide material that is versatile to style preference. Discrete zipper, so it’s more fashion than travel gear. Cons: the scarf doesn’t fold into the pocket (creating a “clutch”) to pop in the same items that were in the pocket originally. The zipper is really hard to locate, even when your items are in the pocket.On the other hand, if the pocket is so well concealed, it would be very difficult for someone to discern that it exists, let alone pick pocket from it.I would use this “empty” for regular wear, and also for items that I don’t need to access all day/evening but are critical to keep handy and/or secure.
