Most of us cook in moderately-sized kitchens, yet we own a huge amount of cooking equipment like different-sized pots, various kitchen gadgets, an assortment of dishes for all occasions, and of course; knives!Knives come in so many sizes, shapes, and uses for all the many culinary creations we churn out daily to feed the household (or just ourselves.) All those knives need a proper place to stay if you want them to stay sharp and useful and live a long life. So…Time to get organized! Here are some important factors to consider before purchasing a knife block:SIZE: It’s important to ensure that your most frequently used knives will fit into the slots of the knife block, so measure the size of your knives before choosing a knife block. The Laxinis World Universal Knife Block sports a slotless design so that all knives with blades up to 8” long will fit easily into the block. In fact, it easily holds up to 12 knives!A PLACE TO PUT THE BLOCK ON: Walking off with a compact design that packs the punch is the way to go when choosing a knife block, especially if your countertop space is limited. The Laxinis World Universal Knife Block measures a slim 9.1”x4” and fits up to 12 large knives with blades up to 8” long. Keep it tucked into a corner or in a strategic place on the countertop or shelf.DESIGN: While it’s true that the main focus when buying a knife block should be practicality and functionality, an aesthetically pleasing block can make your kitchen look more appealing. The Laxinis World Universal Knife Block is fingerprint resistant, and has a smooth rounded rectangular body with a timeless stainless-steel colored frame for a modern look and a match-all value. Now get β€˜em all in and get cutting! ## Features - UNIVERSAL FIT FOR ANY KNIFE SET: Organize chef, paring, bread, carving, steak, and utility knives alongside a dedicated shears slot. Open bristle-style insertion fits 12 pieces of any shape, up to 8in blades long, for any home cook - EASY, SECURE INSERTION: Dual-tapered geometry guides handles smoothly into place while keeping every tool firmly seated inside. Wide top opening narrows toward the base for a snug, no-wobble fit every time you reach for a blade - KEEPS KNIVES SHARP: Blade edges never touch the block surface, so cutting performance stays sharp through frequent food prep. Internal suspension holds cutlery elevated above the base, protecting the edge meal after meal - DRAIN HOLE KEEPS MOLD AWAY: Integrated drain port at the base lets moisture run off instead of pooling around stored blades. Better air circulation keeps cutlery clean, dry, and ready for hygienic daily use near food prep areas - PREVENT TIPPING ACCIDENTS: Retrieve cutlery safely without shifting the block during busy cooking tasks. Heavy, weighted bottom and an anti-slip base keep the block firmly balanced and steady on the counter, even during rushed prep ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07XSNZFK5 | | Best Sellers Rank | #92,785 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #117 in Knife Blocks | | Brand Name | Laxinis World | | Capacity | 12 load | | Color | Stainless Steel | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (2,182) | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 4"D x 4"W x 9.1"H | | Item Highlight | Fits 12 Knives & Shears, Blades up to 8in, Compact 9.1 x 4in Footprint, Fingerprint-Resistant Finish | | Item Weight | 0.73 kg | | Manufacturer Part Number | LWUKB128 | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | LWUKB12894 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Style Name | Modern | | UPC | 824918748041 793611876347 619345130619 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Laxinis World - **Color:** Stainless Steel - **Item Weight:** 0.73 kg - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 4"D x 4"W x 9.1"H ## Images ![Laxinis World Universal Knife Block, Stainless Steel, Counter-Top Storage - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Xt3zCJmhL.jpg) ![Laxinis World Universal Knife Block, Stainless Steel, Counter-Top Storage - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31rATdDfY-L.jpg) ![Laxinis World Universal Knife Block, Stainless Steel, Counter-Top Storage - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31+LpOSRigL.jpg) ![Laxinis World Universal Knife Block, Stainless Steel, Counter-Top Storage - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/21gnDuzs8pL.jpg) ![Laxinis World Universal Knife Block, Stainless Steel, Counter-Top Storage - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41+3Nj3Fj4L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I understand the top does not come off but how have you found to clean it?** A: I just wipe it off the knives are clean, and they hang in it and don’t touch anything but the top **Q: I'm thinking of getting this to store dirty knives until I'm ready to wash them. How hard is it to clean this block?** A: I don't think it's a good idea. Looks very difficult if not impossible to get really clean, and it doesn't come apart. **Q: can this be used for ceramic knives** A: You could put any kind of knife in it, but you should read my review before you buy. The best knife holder I have ever owned is the Kapoosh. It will hold any style or shape of knife perfectly. The new ones are bamboo and I have no experience with them, but suspect they are fine. Kapoosh is pricey, but fantastic. **Q: where is this made?** A: I returned this item and don't remember where it was made. ## Frequently Bought Together - Laxinis World Universal Knife Block, Stainless-Steel Modern Rectangular Design with Scissors-Slot, Knife Holder Counter-top Storage, Holds 12 8”-Blade Knives, 9.1” by 4”(knives not included) - KitchenAid All Purpose Kitchen Shears with Protective Sheath Durable Stainless Steel Scissors, Dishwasher Safe, Soft Grip Comfort Handle, 8.72 Inch, Black - iBayam Kitchen Scissors All Purpose Heavy Duty, Kitchen Utensils Set, Stainless Steel Cooking Utensils Gadgets, Meat Poultry Food Shears Dishwasher Safe Utility Tools Home Gift, with Protective Sheath --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/168861018-laxinis-world-universal-knife-block-stainless-steel-counter-top-storage](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/168861018-laxinis-world-universal-knife-block-stainless-steel-counter-top-storage) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
