" I've been a paperhanger for many, many years ... and these Olfa snap off blades are hands down the best out there! I used the silver ones for years ... and then heard that the black ones were 25% sharper ... (it was just a sales pitch I thought) ... But one day after using the black blades for awhile ... I ran out in the middle of a job! At that point I had to go back to using the silver ones! What a difference! They truly just didn't cut as well as the black blades I'd been using earlier! I'd highly recommend these blades ... there's none like them! And Olfa blades are soooooo much better than the cheap ones you can buy at Sherwin Williams!
