The string of the bracelet also is also dyed at most of the bead positions. I no longer wear the bracelet due to fear of heavy metal dyes.The beads are not completely round and there is only one strand of elastic thread for the bracelet. The beads are a bit smaller than some men's beads generally are, so they would work as well for a woman's wrist. The unisex label is, I think, appropriate.In any event, I thought it would stack nicely with some of his other bracelets, such as his wooden beads and whatnot. I was right. It works perfectly with these, and really adds a nice touch.The stones are quite beautiful and without flaws. They have the classic sheen that tiger's eye usually does, but are nice and bright as tiger's eye goes. These are polished really well. The elastic is quite sturdy and keeps its shape nicely. I don't expect that this would break as easily as some others that either of us has had.He was thrilled to get it, and really loves it. I do, too!
