However, the "seller", Uban Mall, writes in this very Q&A section, that they "don't recommend using a washer and dryer". They recommend hand washing for "best results". I bought a lot of these pillows and I have no intention of spending all that time hand washing each one of them and laying them out forever to dry. That is a process that probably won't even probably clean all area of the entire pillow anyway - especially if you have the larger size pillows. **Q: Are these pillows soft?** A: Yes, our multipurpose pillow inserts are soft.
