Review: 1095 steel at a much cheaper price - I fell in love with this knife even before I knew it was 1095. The higher carbon content makes it a more easily sharpened and sharper finished knife than Condor's 'traditional' 1075, which is also really good steel. But 1095 is generally a more expensive material and I couldn't believe they were giving it away for this price. 1095 is the go-to for high end knivers like TOPS knives, Dexter Russell, Victorinox, and many others 1095 printed on the blade, as well as the information bearing out in their catalog. This Terrasaur is a 2018 model but desertcart just recently started carrying it. The handle is almost exactly the same feel as Benchmade's Puuko, but at a third of the price. This is also a Puuko style knife, but the full tang come out a quarter inch past the end of the sculpted handle. This design has the forge blacking on it so it looks really attractive and rugged. Mine is in army green but there are other color options. The sheath is much like a Morakniv in the way it snaps into the plastic. The handle has the Condor as an indent on both sides and it operates as a snap into the molded plastic sheath. So it fits either direction you want to fit in the blade-facing, which adds a universality to carrying, which is a nice bonus they haven't even bothered to advertise. The sheath has two drain holes to wick out moisture. 1095 is a high carbon steel and will rust easily if not cared for properly. The knife sits deep down in the sheath so it wont protrude above the belt level, so if you're a little thick in the love handle area like I am it won't bother you. I paid 43 dollars for mine, which is practically free for what you're getting. It's a regular belt-knife puuko size, making it a perfect survival knife. Grab it now. I cant fathom they'll leave this quality piece at this price for long.
Review: Simple and effective - Got this as a value alternative to the Morakniv Garberg. I like the blade geometry better on the Condor and love 1095 steel for an outdoor camp knife so I will opt for that steel whenever it is an option. I also prefer the sheath on the condor. Its a more simple shape, better retention and it diesnt rattle like most Mora sheaths. This has a ture scandi grind like many Condor knives do. This makes the edge retention a little weak because it comes to such a thin edge, however 1095 is super tough so although you might have to use a steel and strop more often you nevef have to worry about chipping or damaging the blade and scandi grinds are easy to maintain with even simple tools. This can be a real workhorse of a knife when camping or hiking and its crazy cheap like most Condor products. Condor is known for making simple yet effective tools and the Terrasaur is another example of this.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value/solid knife
*by A***D on December 29, 2025*

Nice knife for the price. Time will tell if it holds up. My only complaint is the sheath covers so much of the knife handle it’s difficult to remove the knife from the scabbard, which can become a potential safety issue.
