**Q: Possible to get lock and keys replaced? They broke immediately.**
A: Same!!  I put exactly that same issue in my review and received an email from the seller offering to send me a key.  but they wouldn’t respond after sending them my address to mail a new key to. I assume their communication was a stall tactic so I ran out of time to return it.  Disappointing - such a cute box.

**Q: Is the key metal or plastic?**
A: The key is made of very cheap plastic and breaks easily, that is why they send two of them I guess. One of the keys broke immediately as I tried to use it, the second didn’t as I took super extra care with it.

I bought this chest to add pirate treasure in it for a gift for a new pirate. The chest looks great! It comes with 2 types of locks with 2 keys each. The only thing is the locks are a little flimsy and I think they will break easily. So I’m glad there are 2 locks included. Otherwise it’s a great chest for pirate treasures.
