It was sort of a private trip, two divers and one dive master. The other diver had difficulty walking, "Jesus I thought to myself, he can hardly walk, how is he going to scuba dive" He had MS as a kid, that wasn't so bad, then one day he is trying to make it across the street, and a car hits him and keeps on going. Now he had some serious problems, he lands in the hospital and told he will never walk again, but he always wanted to go scuba diving. So when he was old enough he took lessons and became a certified diver.We went in the water and i'm thinking what did Karla (the dive-master) get me into, how can I enjoy a dive with a guy that can't swim.Well he takes off, I'm watching him trying to figure out how he's moving so well, and his legs are just dangling behind him. Then I see he has these gloves on that are webbed, I think to myself he's faster then me underwater. We have a great dive, I was totally impressed. After that whenever I would think a dive is tough, I would think about this guy that did something most people with perfect bodies can't do. He overcame the obstacles of his life.So in December of 2013, I fell off a ladder and broke my humerus bone in two, I still don't see what is humorous about it.I couldn't swim, I could hardly walk, I was in serious trouble, Did I tell you I'm 71 years old? So from all my inactivity I lost my muscle mass, lost my strength, and thought this is it. Talk about getting depressed.My doctors told me I had to exercise, swim, ride a bike, do the things I've always done. I just couldn't do anything.I finally started swimming, and kept thinking about this guy I met in Mexico, he did the impossible. Lots of our brave hero's from the military also did the impossible, and here I was letting my belly slip down to my butt because I couldn't do anything. I started to swim every day, I saw these gloves and another type, bought both and started using them figuring my broken arm will heal faster if I push it by wearing these gloves. These gloves are so wimpy they didn't do anything, that is why only 3 stars. My other pair I would only give 4 stars. But they are to difficult to get off and on, so they would only get 2 stars.
