I’ve tried many methods, heel creams and cotton socks and such, and none of them seemed to work before I remembered about gel socks. Decided that I was completely 1000% desperate and at the mercy of callus pains, I bought these and… WOW! Definitely noticed a difference after the first 4 days(with plenty of creams and balms to help)! My heels haven’t completely healed up yet but they’re getting there!One quick thing to note;Please be extra careful when you walk around in these! Because we put a lot of our weight on our heels when we walk (first to touch the ground), the gel pad is (of course) slippery. There are no non-slip covers on this heely sock and though the sock does not shift around, the gel pad can so I caution you to understand that these socks are/can be hazardous if you’re not paying attention to your surroundings and walking around without a light source. I have had problems with my heels for years now. I would almost constantly be suffering from a deep crack in one or both heels, to the point that they would bleed and constanly hurt because I'm on my feet so much. If I was lucky enough for one to start heeling, it would only re-open after awhile and just keep continuing this un-ending process because I had no way of keeping anything ON my heels for any extended period of time in order to treat them.. I purchased these as a last resort to find relief.I did NOT expect it to work, as just soaking my feet and using lotions/balms at night was not helping long term.After the first night sleeping with these socks on and O'Keefes healthy feet balm over my heels, there was a drastic difference already. My heels were softening up and the cracks were looking and feeling better. Surprised, I continued this routine every night for the rest of the week to see how things would go. WOW. By the end of the week, the deep cracks that had been plaguing me for years, were almost completely healed. There was no more bleeding, no more soreness or pain while walking. And no more extreme dryness. Once the cracks and problem areas completely healed, I used a pumice stone on both heels a couple of times in total the second week. After two weeks in, it seemed like I was looking at someone else's heels each morning when I removed the socks (Still does!!!).I wish I had before photos, but I never ever expected for ANYTHING to work. After years of slathering on lotion/balm (even O'Keefe's cant work well if it's being wiped off by sheets during sleep) and not getting results, I was giving up. I didn't know that these socks even existed until recently. I'm SO glad that I gave them a try! They changed everything, and finally free'd me of those horrible, painful, and relentless cracks.These socks have this slippery gel inside that covers the heel area, and the socks themselves stay in place during sleep so that whatever I put on my heels for the night STAYS right where it belongs. The combination of the gel on the inside of the socks, and the lotion or balm that I apply on my heels- truly worked MIRACLES for me. My heels are totally unrecognizable and NORMAL now- no cracks, no pain, no bleeding,, no dry skin at all. Now that the healing part is complete- i still (and will continue to) wear the socks 3-4 times a week to sleep, as maintenance. I dont recommend walking around in the socks during the day, as the gel area feels squishy and slippery. They are definitely best suited for sleep. I have no problems keeping them on for night time bathroom trips, but that's about it. I wear them to bed only.If you don't like wearing socks to bed- Take note: I HATE the feeling of wearing socks in bed- and was shocked that it feels like I'm not wearing any socks to bed because they are toeless! A definite PLUS!!!I sometimes wear the socks with no lotions, and just let the gel moisturize. Other times I will switch off between O'Keefes healthy feet or Dr Teals pure Epsom salt lotion (also a really great foot lotion).I suggest starting with O'Keefe's healthy feet first if you're starting out using these socks on extremely painful heels with deep cracks that never fully heal. It works WONDERS. After healing, you can switch off between brands and use the socks with or without additional lotions at least a few times a week to keep your heels healthy.I actually look forward to putting these on at night and treating my heels.
