Some my animals love and first but then it goes off quickly in the air/once the bag is open. Others are full of dust. This is by far my favourite and a good midrange price too. Good points: I love the fact its compressed, not only does it take up less space, it makes less mess and most importantly for me they hay keeps its flavour for longer so my animals keep loving it right to the bottom of the bag. -The quality control is good. Although there can be little bits of dust at the bottom overall you can trust what you are getting will be the same each time and there wont be wilkd fluctuations in quality. -There are a wide range of types/flavours in the burgess hay range but this is by far my favourite. It has a lovely wide range of flavours and textures which helps keep my animals and especially my rabbits interested as they easily get bored. -It has a gorgeous rich smell that I like and the animals. Id say this is a midrange and for me it is worth it because my animals love it equally but for many that would be offputting for something you have to buy so often. -The fact it is so tightly compressed can/could make it difficult to remove if you have hand/joint problems as it is tightly packed and the firmer pieces alongside the packing may cause minor scratches which could be problematic for those with certain health conditions who have bleeding conditions. I personally have hypermobility with arthritis and bruise/scratch easy but am able to cope fine but imagine for those more severely effected you may have to cut the bag open and put into a different container or use a different type of hay. Ive been buying it for years and the last few bags have bren dried up and brown!** A: I have no idea either. I bought some from the pet shop just to see if it was any different and no...very disappointed with that too. So an absolute waste of ‘full price’ money. I don’t know what has happened to their hay. **Q: Is this for 3 bags very cheap?** A: I think the price quoted is per bag so I think you will be charged 3 x £4.37 but even so it usually retails for about £6.00 per bag so sounds like a good price. **Q: can it be used for ducks?** A: I don't see why not BUT please don't bother. This hay isn't worth £1 let alone the extortionate £5 odd because everything about it has become AWFUL ! Literally floor sweepings, is it's best description. AND Amazon don't accept returns, so be warned. **Q: How long does 1kg last feeding 2 guinea pigs?** A: It should last around 8 /9 days. I have 4 guinea pigs and 1 kg lasts 1 week plus dried food plus veg.
